13 year old golf clubs?

my son wants a nice set of golf clubs but he doesn’t know what kid to get. i don’t know if i should get him teen clubs if they even make them women’s clubs or men’s clubs. hes an experienced golfer looking for a good set with a lot of clubs in it. he is 5′ 0 and wants a good brand golf set PLEASE give me and advise or even better some brands that sell what I’m looking for

At 13 he is old enough and strong enough for regular men’s clubs. He will probably continue to grow and get stronger in the future, but for now I would recommend you go to a Golf Galaxy Store or a Golfsmith store and look at the sets of used clubs. There you can find a really top of the line set for much less than new. He can hit the different clubs there in their simulators to see which feel good to him, and he can trade them back in later if he wants to upgrade.

It would be better to get some to long for him, he can adjust his stance to them and then as he gets taller they won’t make his swings awkward. Basically he would have to keep bending his knees further down if they were shorter. Trust me, I’m his age and it worked great for me. You can usually find some pretty good sets on ebay or a pro shop that don’t cost too much and can be in pretty good condition.
