I’m going to a golf tournament at a high end country club in the Palm Springs, California area. I expect the weather to be about 110 degrees. Yikes!

I want to be comfortable, but also look polished. Would it be taboo to wear a casual skirt or dress?

I seem to like balls with a lower compression (Maxfli Noodle, Volvik Crystal) yet after reading up on the design of golf balls, I am not sure that this is the right decision. How late do golfers typically stay out playing during the summer? Our ceremony is set for 5:30pm. Will the amount have dwindled down by then?

And generally, will it be extra crowded on the Sunday before Labor Day because of the holiday weekend?
